Update: Sept 6, 2009
We are moving this site to our scam list and here are our reasons why:

1. Staff Confession - One of project-bux's staff just made announcement about the owner and how he is stealing the money and not making payments to his users like he should. Here is the copy and past also a screen shot to your left:

BAD NEWS FOR PROJECTBUX MEMBERS
Hi Dear Friends,
I am with you with a bad announcement. You know I left Projectbux at the end of the August. It was only last week.
I really worked hard for Projectbux. (Support, extend ref, cheaters, forum works) Then I left Projectbux as you know.
But I often checked forum and ptc admin panel. I still have its passwords. I saw that Nico started to pay less member. Everyday less member. He didn't update contest and new goldens. He didn't extend nobody's refs. He only goes on collecting money. He have never online on the msn since last week.
Yesterday I changed Nico's AP&PP mails on the admin panel. Why? To keep you. Because some members have continue to add funds and buy premium. But Nico stopped payments. If he checked his site, he could see this problem. But he didn't check.

Here is site position:
Total paid: $2,867.51
Total pending: $450.32
Total times paid: 281 x
Today I deleted your AP&PP mails from forum.
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=277
If he will pay you, he can want them again. But I don't think.
Now what can I do for you? I want to say I will pay your money but I can't. You know I was just a staff on the projectbux. Now I can only allow to convert your balance to ads. I know it is not enough for you and it is very sad. I really understand your feelings.
I really trusted him. But now I see I will trust nobody. Money changes people. Now I can't allow him to cheat people anymore.
See Nico Hachula here.

And a note for you if you are interested in mygoldbux. He is a cheater. When you click buxwiz click ads on the  rojectbux, you see clicksia. Referrer oussou123. He is mygoldbux's admin referrer link. It is here.http://bit.ly/14LpbL

Name Oussa.H
Email business2all.net@googlemail.com
And last minute note for higguins113: When I see 602 rent ref, I am shocked. Then I looked support. I saw your support. I didn't delete your account. I know you invested much money to Projectbux. I remember your last $85 or $95 payout request. If you want your account back, please register again with same username. I try to help you. Or don't waste your time, you can open a dispute.
A note for Nico:

Nico come on here and say something to your members if you are really a honest man. Why did you do a promotion for golden membership if you wouldn't pay. To scam more people? When a PTC scammed you, what did you feel? Can you understand member's feelings? I wish everything will be worse for you in your future life.

2. BuxHost Site - The owner chose to have their site hosted by buxhost. Many sites are coming out daily with the same look and script like project-bux.com. The reason for that is because of buxhost, who sells the script and hosts these sites for a monthly fee. Some of these sites are becoming scams. When you have a group of sites that look like one another and they turn scam, it can have a effect on all who have the same layout and script.
buxhost.com is PTC script provider who is under scrutiny and might be dealing with some legal issues with PTCPay, another script provider who claims buxhost ripped off their script. You can read about it here:

With all of that said, we must warn those who are asking us about these sites. Many of them are brand new, inexperience web owners, and have no clue on how to run a successful ptc site.
Maybe a select few might be a "honest" site owner. Other than that, we personally would not use these sites.

Summary:
We would not recommend this site to anyone for the reasons previously described.
If anyone has any negative or positive experience with this site and would like to share it with us, feel free to do so in our comment section at the end of this review.
